Always on a hockey pitch or pike fishing alongside Maurits when we were young I still remember his enthusiasm and energy. To use his legacy to help kids in the Cape Town area having one great day without worries in their difficult lives is what makes me want to contribute and assure a sustainable future for our foundation.

It is great to do something in memory of Maurits, being born and raised in Cape Town, we knew each other when we were both very young. Now living and working in The Netherlands, I still have fond memories of playing cricket in Cape Town after school. Hoping that through the foundation children in the townships, around my hometown, will have the same fond memories to treasure when growing up.

Born in Capetown, raised in the Netherlands, a love for children & passionate about sports! Seeing all the happy faces of the children playing sports on the beach and in the townships of Capetown, it made me realize that this is something that I would like to contribute to.
